The British Embassy in Washington has introduced a new attraction on its premises. ‘The Two Georges’ pub, named after George Washington and King George III, has been officially opened. These two historical figures, who never shared a pint, are celebrated in this unique establishment.
Last Thursday, the pub hosted its grand opening, drawing attention from guests who cast shadows on its entrance. The event marked a memorable occasion for those attending.
Security is a key feature at the embassy, with a tall black metal fence surrounding the premises. Typically, visitors must pass through bunker-like guardhouses to access the area. However, during the opening evening, a special gate allowed guests to enter, adding to the atmosphere of exclusivity and celebration at ‘The Two Georges’.
