A financial scandal has unsettled a Little League organization in Las Vegas. The former board president stands accused of misappropriating league funds. Allegations include spending on strip clubs and erectile dysfunction medication.

Justice Court Records in Las Vegas document these accusations against Steve Rodriguez Prado. According to 8 News Now, he was arrested on charges filed on July 2. These include one count of theft, two counts of forgery, and failing to register with local law enforcement within 48 hours.

The arrest report suggests Prado spent around $65,000 on various expenses. These included casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, air travel, and explicit entertainment venues. Personal expenses such as ride-shares, video games, and car insurance also featured in the allegations.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department reported that Prado transferred over 75 transactions totaling almost $64,000 to a business owned by his wife. This misuse includes a notable receipt from a strip club for $1,351, showing a $433 tip.

The report also itemized $294 spent on Blue Chew medication and almost $2,000 on casino trips.

Robert Fleming, District 2 Administrator for Nevada Little League, responded to these events. Fleming expressed devastation and mentioned a hypothetical punishment for someone guilty of such actions, emphasizing accountability.

“It’s unfortunate that the league had to endure this financial setback,” Fleming remarked.

Initially, the Central Little League faced a near halt in its season, with its account reduced to $25. Donations from various organizations, including the Athletics, helped sustain the league’s activities.
