Search Underway for Missing K2 Cargo Airways Flight

A K2 Cargo Airways Boeing 737-400 with five crew members went missing during a flight from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, to Karachi, Pakistan. This incident initiated a significant search effort in the Arabian Sea.

Flight KTA1732 was last tracked approximately 300 kilometers west of Karachi on Tuesday evening. Initial data from flight tracking indicated that the aircraft experienced a severe drop in altitude and a sudden change in direction just before losing communication. Pakistani officials stated that the crew had reported issues with the navigation system moments before and were under the guidance of air traffic controllers.

The Rescue Coordination Centre in Pakistan has begun a combined search operation involving multiple agencies to locate the lost aircraft. As of now, no debris or survivors have been discovered, and there is no official confirmation of a crash. An investigation will commence once the aircraft is located.

This story is developing and will be updated as new information becomes available.
