Russian Strikes on Brovary District Near Kyiv Result in Fatalities

On Saturday, Russian attacks resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a child, in a region northeast of Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. This information was disclosed by Tymur Tkachenko, who leads the regional military administration.

The assaults occurred in the Brovary district, where three others sustained injuries. The attacks have been attributed to Moscow’s intensified focus on Kyiv, often utilizing ballistic missiles that are difficult to intercept.

Tymur Tkachenko shared details of the attack on Telegram, highlighting the resulting fires triggered by falling debris.

Emergency services released images showing a building engulfed in flames. The attack in Pukhivka, a village near Kyiv, led to significant destruction, including a two-story house and two vehicles. Additionally, a warehouse was set ablaze.

An AFP correspondent on the scene reported hearing multiple explosions. Kyiv’s military administration confirmed four people were injured in overnight strikes. An air raid alert was imposed due to the perceived threat of ballistic missile use from the north. Residents were urged to seek refuge.
