She warned Gere, her 26-year-old co-star, about the differences in perception they might face compared to unknown actors. Gerber expressed that this scrutiny has motivated her to put in even more effort.

The collaboration of Gerber and Gere comes with a historical Hollywood note. At 22, Cindy Crawford began dating then 39-year-old Richard Gere.
