Justin Rose’s Stunning Hole-in-One at the Tour Championship

Justin Rose had a challenging final round at the Tour Championship on Sunday until a remarkable swing on the par 3 ninth hole altered his day. Initially at 2-over par and not in contention, Rose selected a six-iron and executed a flawless shot. The Par 3 was a 208-yard challenge, demanding a carry over water, yet Rose was unfazed.

His perfect strike led to a spectacular hole-in-one, a rare achievement in golf. The ball flew straight into the hole without touching land before sinking in the cup. Witnessing this, Rose celebrated by raising his arms and mimicking the ball’s path with his finger.

Unfortunately, his following performance included a bogey on the Par 4 tenth hole, but the momentous ace is likely to stay with him for years. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler almost achieved a similar feat earlier, with his shot landing just three inches from the hole on the Par 3 second hole.

Rose, winner of the FedEx Cup in 2018, secured his 13th PGA Tour victory earlier this year at the Farmers Insurance Open, triumphing by seven shots. Looking ahead, the 46-year-old aims to build his resume during the 2027 season and is eager to join the European Ryder Cup team for the upcoming event in Ireland.
