In an exclusive interview with ‘Hannity,’ she expressed her commitment to continuing her brother’s legacy. ‘He worked tirelessly for South Carolina. I have to keep that alive,’ she remarked.

Appointed by Governor Henry McMaster, Graham Nordone fills her brother’s Senate seat until January 2027, following his death on July 11. She is the first female U.S. Senator from South Carolina. She shared with Fox News that assuming this responsibility brings her ‘inner peace.’ The pressure is significant, but she feels prepared to represent The Palmetto State.

“It’s a tremendous amount of pressure,” she stated, “but I feel I have an inner peace about it.”

While Lindsey Graham was noted for his focus on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Darline Graham Nordone intends to prioritize domestic issues. She aims to address everyday concerns of South Carolinians. She expressed the need to focus on topics like the cost of living and healthcare.

Lindsey Graham passed away at the age of 71 due to an aortic dissection. His sister reflects on the difficulty of his passing. ‘He was everything to me,’ she shared during her interview with Sean Hannity.

Before her Senate appointment, Graham Nordone served as a commissioner for South Carolina’s Commission for the Blind, managing its $90 million budget. Her role focused on assisting visually impaired individuals in finding employment. Her experience there was driven by what she describes as a ‘servant’s heart.’
