Convicted murderer Chris Watts is reportedly interested in marrying again despite serving multiple life sentences. Watts, known for the brutal murders of his pregnant wife and two young daughters in 2018, has been in contact with a new love interest, Lizzie Henderson. The couple met while Watts was incarcerated, and their relationship has progressed amidst his history of exchanging letters with female pen pals.
In August 2018, Watts killed his family while involved in an extramarital affair, later receiving a life sentence without parole for the murders of his wife, Shanann Watts, and their daughters, Bella and Celeste. He avoided the death penalty by pleading guilty to all charges.
Henderson, from Cleveland, Ohio, has moved to Wisconsin, where Watts is serving his sentence at Dodge Correctional Institution. Reports indicate both Watts and Henderson have applied to marry through the prison system.
Racine County court records from 2025 show Henderson applied for a legal name change, with the details marked confidential. She commented on Watts’ crimes, expressing her intention to respect those affected by the tragedy, while acknowledging the difficulty of the situation.
Previously a real estate agent, Henderson was listed with a Milwaukee-area Keller Williams Realty office but is not currently employed there. Attempts to obtain comments on her past employment status have been unsuccessful.
