The New York Yankees secured a victory against the Boston Red Sox in the AL Wild Card series with a decisive 9-2 win in Game 2. Despite the absence of star player Aaron Judge, the Yankees delivered an impressive performance.

Judge, unable to participate due to injury, celebrated the team’s success with his teammates. In a post-game interview, he acknowledged the motivation they draw from the NBA champions, the New York Knicks. “We’re definitely inspired by the Knicks,” Judge remarked. “We gotta keep the winning going in New York.”

The Knicks won the NBA championship this past June, energizing the Yankees as they aim to capture their first World Series title since 2009. Their commanding performance against the Red Sox suggests that their aspirations are within reach. The Yankees now face the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS. The Rays pose a significant challenge, having finished the season first in the AL East with a 98-64 record.

Fans are eager to see if Judge, alongside the Yankees, can bring home another championship for New York.
