174th Lake County Fair in Crown Point
The 174th Lake County Fair is ongoing in Crown Point with events scheduled at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court St. The fair, which dates back to 1852, will run through August 16. Visitors can enjoy more than 30 carnival rides, participate in a car show, and attend Sunday church services. A live music stage, various games, and numerous food vendors are also available.
Tickets are priced at $8 for individuals aged 11 and older, while children aged 10 and under attend for free. Karen Mills Headlines in Munster
Former women’s pro basketball star turned comedian Karen Mills is set to make her debut at the Theatre at the Center. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road in Munster. Mills, with three decades of comedic experience, performed as the opening act for Leanne Morgan in Chicago earlier this year.

Touch of Dutch Festival in DeMotte
The DeMotte Chamber of Commerce is again hosting the Touch of Dutch Festival this Saturday at Spencer Park in DeMotte, Indiana. Attracting between 10,000 and 12,000 visitors, the festival features a parade, car show, craft and food vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and fireworks.

Canterbury Summer Theatre’s “Red, White and Tuna”
Canterbury Summer Theatre in Michigan City presents “Red, White and Tuna.” This comedic play highlights a high school class reunion in a small Texas town. The production is running through Saturday at 807 Franklin St.
