Vice President JD Vance Criticizes El-Sayed’s Political Stance

Vice President JD Vance labeled Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed as a “limousine socialist”. He warned on Wednesday that the far-left aims to undermine Michigan’s autoworkers through wealth redistribution and open-border immigration policies.

In an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle,” Vance criticized Democratic candidates backed by the far-left. He suggested they focus on wealth redistribution instead of fostering domestic industrial growth.

“They’re not promising you industry. They’re not promising you good jobs. They’re not promising self-sufficiency in a good industrial economy. What they’re promising is redistribution,”

Vance told host Laura Ingraham. El-Sayed recently won the Democratic primary for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat. He defeated Rep. Haley Stevens and will face Republican Mike Rogers in the upcoming election.

Vance described the shift in Michigan’s political landscape as reflective of a broader trend within the Democratic Party. He argued that the party’s base seeks “radicals” who reject private property ownership.

“It wants people who hate even the idea of private property ownership. But it also, I think, tells us that that particular set of ideas is very popular in places you wouldn’t expect,”

Vance commented. He said El-Sayed presents himself as a working-class hero while advocating for policies that could harm autoworkers by driving down wages through low-wage immigration.

El-Sayed has opposed the Trump tariffs that Vance claims saved the Michigan auto industry. Fox News Digital reached out to El-Sayed’s campaign for comment, with no immediate response.

Vance labeled El-Sayed as part of the “limousine socialists” faction opposed to industry. While Stevens prioritized the auto industry in her campaign, El-Sayed promoted progressive policies like “Medicare-for-All” and campaign finance reform.

“We’ve seen this in Europe and in the United States. The idea that you can build real prosperity by just redistributing assets from one group to another group. That’s not how you build real prosperity,”

Vance asserted. He acknowledged the President’s efforts over the past 18 months to maintain economic stability and anticipated continued progress.
