TNA Announces Knockouts TV Championship Tournament

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) revealed a significant development during Slammiversary, with the announcement of a tournament to establish the inaugural Knockouts TV champion. TNA legend Traci Brooks shared the news with fans in Boston, introducing the new championship for the women’s division.

The 16-woman tournament is set to commence on “Impact” this Thursday. This newly introduced title will be defended exclusively during the television show.

The tournament bracket includes fresh talents as well as familiar faces. Match-ups involve:

  • Indi Hartwell vs. Vicki Venuto
  • Harley Hudson vs. Thea Hail
  • Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo
  • M by Elegance vs. Rosemary
  • Jade Stone vs. Alisha Edwards
  • Jody Threat vs. Gabby Forza
  • Mara Sadè vs. Tasha Steelz
  • Heather by Elegance vs. Allie

The winner will claim the title of the first Knockouts TV champion. Matches are scheduled to air on AMC on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

One key matchup is between Heather by Elegance and Allie. The two faced off at Slammiversary for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, a match won by Allie and Rosemary over Heather and M by Elegance. Additionally, Sadè will compete against Steelz.

“Impact” will also feature several other matches including Leon Slater vs. Eddie Edwards, Ryan Nemeth vs. KC Navarro, and an X Division Championship No. 1 contenders match. The contenders include Fabian Aichner, Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, and Home Town Man.

Besides these thrilling matches, new TNA world champion Nic Nemeth, TNA women’s champion Xia Brookside, and Ricky Sosa are anticipated to address the crowd.
