Police named Chad Williams, 24, as the man involved in the shooting at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. Williams was eventually subdued by an off-duty state trooper and an armed citizen who returned fire during the incident.

According to Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks, Williams died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after fatally shooting an employee and a customer. Authorities think Williams acted alone in the Saturday attack.

Williams was found dead near the restaurant. Chief Hicks praised the off-duty officer and citizen for their quick action. “We believe their actions helped drive the suspect away from the scene, preventing further casualties,” he stated in a Sunday news conference.
