Wildfire Devastation in Washington State
A significant wildfire near Spokane, Washington has caused substantial damage. More than 600 structures have been impacted. The fire, listed at over 5,390 acres as of Sunday, has authorities still assessing the extent of destruction. The U.S. Agriculture Department’s spokesperson Benjamin Cossel reported ongoing efforts to identify damaged buildings, including homes, businesses, or schools. The Spokane Area Fires are managed as three incidents: Old Trails Fire, Fairview Fire, and Autumn Lane Fire.
