As the Virginia Senate race unfolds, incumbent Democrat Senator Mark Warner is seeking his fourth term without any opposition from within his own party.
Three Republican candidates have stepped forward to challenge Warner in the upcoming general election. The contenders include Kim Farington, a certified public accountant, Bert Mizusawa, a retired Army Major General, and David Williams, a Marine Corps reservist and former diplomat.
While Warner remains unopposed on the Democratic side, the Republican primary will determine who will go head-to-head with him later in the year.
