The Philadelphia Eagles secured a narrow victory over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday, clinching a 24-20 win with a decisive touchdown pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts completed the game with 264 passing yards and two touchdowns. However, he also threw two interceptions. On the ground, the team struggled. Tank Bigsby led the rushing efforts with a mere 33 yards.
The Eagles have started the season 2-0 under their new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion. Despite this strong start, their offense has not met expectations.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith expressed his concerns regarding the Eagles’ offensive performance in the ongoing 2026 season.
“I’m concerned. I don’t like what I’m seeing with the Eagles’ offense,” Smith stated. “Jalen Hurts is a winner. He found a way. But the reality is, when you look at the potency of the Dallas Cowboys, the offenses in the NFC North, and the NFC West, several teams could outperform the Philadelphia Eagles if they don’t figure it out.”
Looking ahead, the 2-0 Eagles will confront the Chicago Bears in a primetime “Monday Night Football” matchup in Week 3.
