Firefighters in Seattle tackled a significant 3-alarm fire at a commercial warehouse in the city’s Industrial District early Wednesday morning. This incident occurred nearly 24 hours after a similar fire in the Central District. The blaze ignited just before 1 a.m. local time on the 4500 block of 7th Avenue S. It involved two tractor trailers that caught fire and spread to the warehouse, according to Seattle Fire spokesman David Cuerpo during a press conference near the site.

Officials discovered numerous empty large metal and plastic barrels both inside one of the trailers and surrounding the building. This discovery led them to extinguish the fire from a safe distance. Firefighters reported a partial collapse of the warehouse roof at 1:15 a.m., which prevented entry into the building’s remains. Crews managed to put out the fire by 3:22 a.m. with no injuries reported. An investigation is ongoing, Cuerpo stated in an announcement to Fox News Digital.

This incident followed another fire on Tuesday morning in a different commercial building located approximately 20 minutes away on the 2700 block of E Madison St. in the Central District. The fire occurred around 3:22 a.m. and crews extinguished it by approximately 5:30 a.m. Cuerpo confirmed that this fire was accidental during the same Wednesday morning press conference.
