FAA Investigates Delta Flight’s Go-Around at Boston Logan

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking into an incident at Boston Logan International Airport involving a Delta Air Lines flight. On Saturday, Delta Flight 2351 performed a go-around because another aircraft was departing from an intersecting runway.

The FAA reported that the incident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time. The airplane was en route from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas to Boston Logan in Massachusetts.

According to a Delta spokesperson, the airline places the utmost importance on safety. The crew adhered to standard procedures and communicated with Air Traffic Control to perform the go-around. Afterward, the flight landed safely.

Delta confirmed that 129 passengers and six crew members were aboard the flight. During the descent, the flight crew received an advisory from onboard systems about potential traffic. The crew worked with air traffic control to carry out the go-around.

The airline stated that its aircraft are equipped with technology to alert crews of potential conflicts involving other planes. This technology ensured a safe response to the advisories given during this flight.
