Divers exploring a shipwreck in the English Channel have made a remarkable discovery. While investigating the site of the Mindoro shipwreck, a vessel that sank in 1864, the team uncovered a bottle sealed with a label reading ‘Guinness Extra Stout, London.’
The shipwreck site presented a haunting scene beneath the water’s surface. Numerous glass bottles were scattered around the remnants of the 19th-century ship. Among them, one particularly stood out to the divers. Its seal remained intact, offering a glimpse into maritime history.
Upon returning to the surface, the divers could clearly read the label, confirming it as a product of the renowned Guinness brewery. This find adds a fascinating detail to the historical narrative of the shipwreck.
