Disney World implemented a new phase of trash cans across its resort this summer, impacting both its four theme parks and two water parks.

Many fans have expressed their disappointment over the replacement of the flat-topped receptacles. These trash cans were known for being useful as impromptu tables and had become popular enough to inspire their own line of merchandise.

In late 2021, Skip Sher, along with other Disney enthusiasts, gathered for a day dedicated to sampling drinks at Epcot, located near Orlando, Florida. Their agreed meeting point was a trash can outside a pub in the theme park’s United Kingdom Pavilion. This specific can served as a memorable gathering spot, and they decided to make it a future rendezvous location.
