Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has ignited considerable reaction following her pregame remarks before her team secured a 106-92 victory over the New York Liberty. Dan Dakich from OutKick shared his views in a recent episode of ‘Don’t @ Me with Dan Dakich.’

White has faced criticism throughout the season for allegedly not standing up for her players amid tough fouls. Notable incidents involve fouls against Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham.

‘If someone hits your player with a flagrant foul, you should always defend them when media questions arise,’ Dakich stated. ‘Stephanie White has not done this.’

White’s emotional plea addressed a foul committed by DiJonai Carrington of the Chicago Sky against Cunningham, which Dakich argues is beside the point.

‘You don’t need to see the foul, you simply need to defend your player,’ Dakich criticized.

Among her comments, White mentioned, ‘Love will win, grace will win, humility will win, and kindness will win,’ standing by her players amid the backlash.

‘There is nothing more loving than telling those you disagree with to go to hell,’ Dakich remarked sarcastically after White’s speech.

‘She is the dumbest coach I’ve seen,’ Dakich concluded, questioning White’s consistency in backing her players.
