New Orleans Saints veteran, Cam Jordan, is determined to make his upcoming 16th season in the NFL his final one. Despite not formally announcing retirement, Jordan’s intentions are evident as he prepares for the upcoming season, having recently re-signed with the Saints.

In 2025, Jordan delivered an impressive 10½-sack season. Speaking to Fox News Digital, he expressed his anticipations, reflecting on his career’s potential end while engaging with fellow players at the Sack Summit in Las Vegas.

“I’ve been doing this since year 10,” Jordan stated, emphasizing his readiness for the final chapter. He also mentioned feeling physically better by skipping some of the offseason activities.

Jordan has been a pivotal figure on the Saints defense. Under the guidance of first-year head coach Kellen Moore and defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, Jordan embraced various roles, including a challenging two-point stance, which proved successful based on his recent performance metrics.

His determination is fueled by a team filled with potential and a desire to make an impact in New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome; he hopes for a final drive toward a Super Bowl victory.

“The ultimate dream is to win a Super Bowl,” Jordan enthused. “Success in football equates to this achievement because it symbolizes the essence of the ultimate team sport.”

Jordan, drafted as the 24th pick in 2011, has maintained his loyalty to Louisiana, achieving 132 career sacks, ranking 17th on the all-time list. As he steps into his last season, he aims to break into the top 10, seeking an eighth double-digit sack season.

While comfortable with his Hall of Fame legacy, Jordan harbors dreams of adding “Super Bowl champion” to his accolades. His performance and dedication have already set a foundation worthy of Canton, Ohio.

As he nears his 37th birthday, Jordan is poised to contribute once more, sharpening his focus for one last season.
