The Buffalo Bills are tackling criticism about issues at their new stadium by addressing them individually, as announced by the team on Monday. Fans had their first comprehensive experience of the $2.1 billion Highmark Stadium during the Bills’ annual Blue and Red practice recently.

Most feedback was positive, but some complaints arose. Team president Pete Guelli noted these complaints came from less than 1% of personal seat licensing holders. A significant concern was obstructed views, highlighted by several photos shared on social media.

One particular photo taken by The Associated Press depicted seats not available for football games. These seats, in the last row of Section 417 in the northwest corner, had views mostly blocked by the press box’s outcropping. A team official mentioned these seats could be offered for other events, such as concerts, without obstruction issues.

Other images displayed seats with views hindered by railings and staircases. When selling these seats, potential buyers received a virtual stadium tour showing field views.

The team plans to evaluate each complaint and use the following six weeks to make necessary improvements before the regular-season home opener against Detroit on September 17. Meanwhile, the Bills will host two home preseason games, beginning with a match against Carolina.

The stadium’s design mirrors that of the Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League home, which also accommodates NFL games in London. Bills owner Terry Pegula praised the design, observing that the Hotspur stadium has few poor seats. The same is expected for Highmark Stadium, which can seat 60,108 fans.
