An audio recording, reviewed by Fox News Digital, reveals the pilot notifying air traffic control about the increasing tensions involving the disruptive passenger. “He just bit a passenger, and he’s trying to fight everybody,” the pilot stated in the recording released on LiveATC.

The flight from Charlotte to Philadelphia was met by medical personnel and law enforcement at its destination. The crew had requested police and emergency medical teams (EMTs) to be present upon their arrival. The pilot expressed uncertainty about the incident’s catalyst but mentioned the passenger’s potential mental health crisis, suggesting that law enforcement might be necessary as a precaution to support EMTs.
