All Elite Wrestling made significant strides at their All In event on Sunday, held at Wembley Stadium in London. The AEW World Trios Championship match began during the Buy In and continued into the main event, showcasing intense competition among seven teams.
The match featured an array of teams entering the ring, culminating in the introduction of wildcard entrants that energized the audience. Swerve Strickland led the charge, followed by the debut of Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed, now collectively called The New Level. This marked their first appearance in AEW after entering the pro wrestling free-agent market and represented a key signing that enhanced AEW’s tag team division.
Throughout the match, reigning champions Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King were eventually ousted from title contention. Teams including Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay faced gradual elimination alongside Colten and Austin Gunn and Jay White.
The competition narrowed down to Strickland, Kofi, Creed, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Kidd. Kofi, nearing elimination, remained in the match through assistance from Prince Nana, allowing The New Level to seize the opportunity and secure the AEW Trios Championship. Kofi and Creed, previously known as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE, had enjoyed multiple tag team champion reigns before their transition to AEW.
AEW owner Tony Khan announced the official signing of Kofi and Creed, reinforcing the promotion’s roster. The event also witnessed Persephone’s victory over Maya World for the TBS Championship, marking the second title change within the first two hours of the show.
