Former Stripper Discusses Life Change and Helping Others

Hannah Hirsh, a woman who spent five years as a stripper, has found peace after leaving the sex industry. Her new mission is to help other women avoid the same path she followed.

“I witnessed a lot of darkness during my time in that world,” Hirsh shared. “There was addiction, drugs, and even trafficking. I became involved with addiction myself.” She warns women considering the lifestyle about the hidden dangers. “You might think it’s quick money, but you’re opening a door to much more, leaving you empty inside.”

Hirsh’s turning point came when the pandemic closed clubs in 2020. “It gave me a chance to sit in silence with God,” she explained. “I realized real goals are in eternal life with Jesus, not the lifestyle society glamorizes.” She describes true riches as being found in faith, not in the life she lived.

“Most women in stripping are on drugs,” Hirsh stated. “They drink daily to numb themselves. You’re degraded every day. Money gives an illusion of empowerment, but it disappears as fast as it comes.”

Today, Hirsh shares her message directly with women in strip clubs. “I let them know what God places in my heart to tell them. My job is to plant the seed, it’s up to God to help it grow,” she said.

She founded “Kept by Grace Ministry” and visits these venues to encourage women to leave the industry. “Some Christians believe strippers are beyond saving,” Hirsh noted. “But Jesus reached out to those deemed unworthy. No one is too far gone for redemption.”
