Following the play, Vasquez, known for a troubled past including a domestic violence charge, reacted aggressively. He initiated a fight by punching Monclova’s third baseman, Rodolfo Amador, in the face. This incident triggered both teams to rush onto the field.

The altercation escalated as Vasquez continued his aggression, kicking Amador while he was down. Monclova’s first baseman, Ryan Hernandez, responded by taking Vasquez down with a forceful move. This intense confrontation led to multiple players being ejected from the game.

World Baseball reports that Danry Vasquez has been “suspended indefinitely by the LMB” due to his involvement in the brawl. Along with Vasquez, Toros pitcher Adonis Medina, and Monclova players Hernandez and Jecksson Flores were also removed from the game.

The consequences of the brawl were severe for Hernandez, who reportedly left the ballpark in an ambulance with a broken arm. This incident once again highlights Vasquez’s troubled history and calls into question his place on the team roster.
