Attendees gathered in places like Chicago and New York City to enjoy fireworks and music in honor of Independence Day. In Washington, D.C., President Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, participated in the ‘Salute to America’ event on the National Mall. Severe weather warnings led to temporary evacuations, yet many returned for the evening’s events.

The celebrations extended beyond American soil. Participants in Santa Barbara d’Oeste, Brazil, honored their U.S. heritage during the annual Festa Americana. Similarly, in Kyiv, Ukraine, the Mother Ukraine Monument was illuminated with U.S. flag colors to commemorate the occasion.
