Man Arrested for Allegedly Forcing Child into Crocodile Enclosure

A British man faces serious charges after reportedly pushing a 3-year-old boy into a crocodile enclosure at a zoo. The child sustained severe injuries, and authorities confirm the suspect had no prior connection to the boy. Investigations continue as more details emerge.

Cambridgeshire police arrested the 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. However, due to his condition, he was deemed unsuitable for an interview. The man was released on bail until September 30 as inquiries proceed.

The incident occurred at Johnsons of Old Hurst, a farm and zoo located in Huntingdon, England, just north of London. The young boy now stabilizing after suffering a broken arm and pelvis owes his rescue to Tracey Johnson, the zoo owner’s wife. Her brave actions prevented further harm to the child.

I know Tracey very well. She’s a lovely lady, and it’s nothing less than I’d expect from her,

a local resident told BBC News. Her actions spoke of her willingness to help others, even at personal risk.

Currently, the tropical house at the zoo remains closed to visitors. The management emphasizes their support for the affected child and his family during this difficult time.

Charlotte Lowe, a councillor for the Huntingdonshire district, expressed her surprise at the incident given the zoo’s existing safety measures. Additional responses from authorities are awaited for further clarification on this event.
