WNBA All-Star Game Announces Starters for 2026

The ten starters for the WNBA All-Star Game, scheduled for July 25, have been confirmed. Among the selected players is Caitlin Clark from the Indiana Fever. Clark is joined by teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, marking a strong representation for the Fever. The game will take place in Chicago.

Fans participated significantly in the selection process, contributing 50% of the votes. Current players and a media panel each contributed 25%. The final arrangement included four guards and six frontcourt players. Clark, Boston, and Mitchell have been chosen for the All-Star Game consecutive times over the past three years. For the first time, all three have been voted as starters. Boston was honored as a starter in 2023 and 2025; Clark has been a regular starter for the past two years, and Mitchell achieved her first starting position this year after being a replacement in 2025.

Other teams also have multiple players in the starting lineup. The Dallas Wings have guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard. The Minnesota Lynx feature Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles. Completing the starting lineup are A’ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces, Breanna Stewart from the New York Liberty, and Gabby Williams from the Golden State Valkyries.

This year introduces a new format for team selection. Instead of the top two voted players becoming captains to pick their teams, WNBA legends Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon will serve as general managers to choose rosters. This change celebrates the league’s 30th anniversary.

Caitlin Clark, a standout player, solidifies her place as a star starter. She averages a career-high 21.2 points per game, ranking fifth among WNBA players this season. Her 8.2 assists per game is the second-best this season. Clark is known for breaking records, including surpassing 1,000 career points and 500 career assists in record time.

The announcement of 12 reserve players for the All-Star Game will follow. Stay updated with Fox News Digital sports coverage for further updates.
