Wildfires Force Mass Evacuations in France and Spain

Severe wildfires have driven 300,000 people from their homes in France and Spain. The fires threaten regions along the Atlantic coast, including Bordeaux, a popular tourist destination.

In the Cebreros area near Avila, 80 kilometers west of Madrid, firefighters are actively working to contain the blazes. Residents face evacuation, coping with the intense situation.

Dylan Boudier, a 31-year-old butcher from southwest France, witnessed his family evacuate due to the encroaching flames. His sister and parents have already left, and he fears his home may be next.

The wildfires are among the most severe in decades, affecting economies and local communities significantly. Authorities are managing the crisis, prioritizing the safety of those at risk.
