Virginia plans to open its legal marketplace for recreational marijuana in July next year. Until then, gaps in regulations may see illegal markets operate, according to a state legislator.

Recently, a significant drug seizure occurred at the Rat Pack Clubhouse in Woodbridge. Police from Prince William County confiscated various substances, including thousands of grams of marijuana, THC products, magic mushrooms, and others.

Authorities explained that FedEx security flagged four packages as suspicious. The inspection revealed marijuana and concentrated extracts valued over $450,000.
