Vanessa Trump Announces Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., revealed on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She shared, “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

The 48-year-old mother of five expressed gratitude towards her doctors for a recent procedure. She added, “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” Vanessa requested privacy during this challenging time, thanking everyone for their kindness and support.

Ivanka Trump, Vanessa’s former sister-in-law, showed her support on Instagram, saying, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”

Vanessa’s diagnosis follows her boyfriend, golfer Tiger Woods, completing a stay in a Swiss rehabilitation center. Woods was involved in a Florida car crash and faced charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a urine test, pleading not guilty on March 31.

Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. married in 2005 after being introduced by then-President Donald Trump at a fashion show. They divorced in 2018, sharing five children: Kai, 19; Donald III, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11. Their eldest, Kai, has gained attention as a social media personality and competitive golfer.

Earlier in May, Kai praised Vanessa on Instagram, writing, “Happy Mother’s Day to the best Mom I could ever ask for. I’m so thankful and lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for always supporting me and loving your 5 kids. You are such an amazing Mom and we are all so lucky to have you. I appreciate you more than anything.”

In related news, Susie Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff, announced her breast cancer diagnosis in March. She shared on social media, “Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis. I am grateful to have an outstanding team of doctors who detected the cancer early and are guiding my care, and I am encouraged by a very good prognosis.” She also expressed appreciation for President Trump’s support.
