During his address, Trump intertwined historical narratives and themes of patriotism with political commentary. He shared stories about flags and war heroes, while also criticizing Democrats. As the country approached midterm elections, he focused on issues such as communism and voting legislation. Trump urged Congress to pass a law that would restrict voting.

Highlighting American values, he stated, “In this country, we have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and equal justice under the law. Although I wasn’t treated that well, but we won’t get into that.” His speech, intended as the main event of the anniversary celebration, resembled previous Trump rallies.
