This incident followed a prior offensive post by Trump likening the Obamas to primates, released during Black History Month. That post was removed after widespread criticism from civil rights leaders and politicians across party lines, though Trump stood firm and refused to apologize.

The new image emerges amidst discussions about the presidential plane’s recent overhaul. Trump recently traveled on a newly outfitted Air Force One, gifted by Qatar, valued at $400 million. The plane’s traditional light blue colors were replaced by Trump’s preference for a navy-blue bottom with red and gold accents.

After delivering a speech on the National Mall to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Trump spent Sunday at his Virginia golf club. He is scheduled to attend a NATO summit in Turkey on Monday. Both the White House and representatives for the Obamas remained silent on this latest development.

This post follows a similarly doctored image of Obama’s presidential library in Chicago, displaying supposed neglect. Trump’s public critiques of the library have been well-documented.

Further fueled by recent posts, Trump also shared an image implying Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s admiration for him, which provoked negative reactions in Italy. Meloni dismissed Trump’s account as false, causing diplomatic tensions that led Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani to cancel a planned trip to Washington.
