‘He’s kind of like a brother, a father, and a mother rolled into one,’ Nordone had said in a 2015 interview with The New York Times. She credited her brother with ensuring she completed her education and described the significant role he played in her upbringing.

While many politicians see this vacant Senate seat as a unique opportunity, Nordone has not confirmed whether she is ready to take on the role. She expressed being ‘kind of like devastated’ shortly after Trump’s announcement, as reported by the New York Post.
