The Injured

Taxi driver Terry Dudley was among those injured. He was charging his Tesla when he was shot. His son, Michael Dudley, detailed the chaotic moments following the attack. Despite the initial belief that the bullet missed vital areas, further examination revealed bleeding, necessitating surgery. As of Monday, Terry Dudley remained in a Boise hospital with serious injuries.

James Palmer, the owner of the taxi service Terry Dudley worked for, described the unfolding events as overwhelming. He noted Dudley’s importance in his business, referring to him as his “right hand.”

Another victim, Austin “A.J.” Scott, was critically injured after he moved to protect others. Marcus Scott, his father, shared in a Facebook post that his son acted bravely in the face of danger. Austin Scott, a former law enforcement officer, is expected to undergo a long recovery.
