Last week, Tom Holland disclosed details about his relationship with Zendaya. He hinted that they may have already tied the knot. Now, Zendaya is sharing her thoughts on one of Holland’s habits.
During an interview on their ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ press tour, Zendaya mentioned that Holland’s gaming habits sometimes annoy her. The press tour is in anticipation of the movie’s release on July 31.
‘We love the games,’ said Holland, highlighting that they often play the ‘Spider-Man’ video game together. ‘The games are absolutely sensational.’
While Holland is skilled at playing Insomniac’s ‘Spider-Man,’ Zendaya admitted she is still learning. ‘I’m not very good at playing video games,’ she confessed.
The challenge came when Zendaya was advised to try the Story Mode. ‘But yeah, so I do the Story Mode, and I get really frustrated because I want to play it all by myself. And he’ll try to come just like, “Let me help you,”‘ she explained.
‘Imma be like, “No.”‘ She continued, ‘I need to do this on my own. You can’t help me. You cannot help me. I cannot let you do this.’
Despite her determination to play independently, Zendaya admitted that she allowed Holland to help her through a particularly tough level. Their playful exchange showcased their chemistry, which fans quickly commented on via social media.
- One fan joked, ‘I mean he knows better because he’s Spider-Man.’
- Another remarked, ‘Tom Holland is a backseat gamer confirmed.’
- Someone else noted, ‘Zendaya refusing Tom Holland’s help while playing Spider-Man is somehow the most Peter and MJ thing ever.’
- ‘Tom Holland trying to be Spider-Man both in real life and in the game,’ another commented.
- Finally, a user quipped, ‘Tom knows some secret Spider-Man techniques that only Spider-Man knows.’
Insomniac Games also showed support, inviting Zendaya to visit their studio. ‘If you’re ever near Burbank, you’re always welcome to swing by the studio to see how we make ’em! We’d love to show you around!’ they said.
