Tim Allen recently shared insights into the success of his nearly 20-year marriage to Jane Hajduk. During an interview with Us Weekly, Allen highlighted the importance of humor in their relationship. “I think a sense of humor saves us so many times,” he remarked.

The couple has been married since 2006. Allen explained that despite their differences, humor plays a crucial role. The “Toy Story” star noted, “We’re very different people. She’s a very good athlete, and she got me involved in training.” He added that Hajduk’s strong Catholic faith influenced him, even though he doesn’t practice the religion himself.

Reflecting on their times together, Allen mentioned, “We both struggle with golf, and our daughter Elizabeth will be a senior next year.” He shared a lighthearted moment when Hajduk made a funny remark while they were golfing, which reminded him of his affection for her humor.

Tim Allen and Jane Hajduk began dating around 2001 and married in a small ceremony in Grand Lake, Colorado, in October 2006. They have a daughter, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, born in March 2009. Allen also has another daughter, Katherine, from his first marriage.

Hajduk revealed to People that the couple enjoys discovering new activities to maintain their connection. “Our new activity is stretching,” she shared, “We go to a little stretch lab, and then we go have breakfast.” Allen highlighted their enduring friendship, saying, “We talk… And we’re good buddies.”
