Three Teenagers Injured in North Lawndale Shooting

On Saturday night, three teenagers suffered gunshot wounds in North Lawndale, Chicago. The incident took place during a large gathering in the 1400 block of S. Christiana Ave. around 11:30 p.m.

Responding Chicago police officers reported hearing multiple gunshots. A group of individuals quickly dispersed from the scene. Among them, a 19-year-old man approached the officers and disclosed that he had been shot in the groin and forearm. Officers applied a tourniquet before transporting him to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

A 19-year-old woman independently reached Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to her buttocks and is reported to be in good condition. Additionally, police found an 18-year-old woman with a similar wound to the buttocks. She was also taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where her condition is noted as good.

Authorities have reported that Area Four detectives are leading the investigation into the incident.
