The Tragic Loss Behind U.F.O. Researcher Nick Pope and David Wilcock’s Story

Elizabeth Weiss, an anthropologist, reflects on the loss of her husband, Nick Pope, a prominent U.F.O. researcher who passed away in April. She shares a quote from him, ‘If you start looking for patterns, you will find them,’ highlighting the tendency to link events, even when they may not be connected. Despite these claims being probably incorrect, the reality of their loss is undeniable.

David Wilcock, whose interest in the supernatural began in childhood after discovering a book about U.F.O.s, later became a recognized commentator in the field. His father recalls the book was not intended for young readers, yet David eagerly absorbed its content. As an adult, he co-authored a publication claiming he was the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce, a known psychic, and featured in the series ‘Ancient Aliens.’ He also launched a paranormal-themed YouTube channel, Divine Cosmos, which boasts 550,000 subscribers.

Despite his fame in the realm of extraterrestrial life research, David faced financial woes and depression. His four-year marriage ended in 2021, adding to his struggles. David’s father admits he knew his son was facing hardship but never imagined the tragic events of April 20.

On that day, Boulder County deputies responded to a call at David Wilcock’s residence in Nederland, located in the Rocky Mountain foothills. David emerged with a firearm. According to the sheriff’s office, he tragically took his life shortly after the deputies arrived.

The devastation experienced by Donald Wilcock was profound, describing his anguish as overwhelming: ‘No father should ever have to go through what I’m going through,’ he shared. His words underscore the immense pain of losing a loved one under such tragic circumstances.
