Brad Pitt, born on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, has become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actors. Raised in Springfield, Missouri, he attended the University of Missouri but left just short of graduating to pursue acting in California. Initially, he appeared in soap operas such as “Another World” and “Dallas.” His breakout role came with 1991’s “Thelma & Louise,” where he played a charismatic cowboy.

Pitt’s career flourished from there. He gained roles in notable films like “A River Runs Through It,” “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles,” and “Legends of the Fall.” His performance in “12 Monkeys” in 1995 earned him his first Golden Globe. He further established his status with movies such as “Fight Club,” “Troy,” “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

One of Pitt’s most recognized roles is that of Rusty Ryan in the “Ocean’s” trilogy. Starring alongside George Clooney, Pitt’s character was part of a group executing casino heists. The series includes “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004), and “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007).

His recent work includes films like “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Ad Astra,” “The Lost City,” and “Bullet Train.” Over his career, Pitt has amassed a range of awards, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and a Best Picture award for producing and starring in “12 Years a Slave.”

On a personal note, Pitt married actress Jennifer Aniston in 2000. The marriage ended in 2005. He later met Angelina Jolie on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” They married in 2014 but divorced in 2016 after welcoming six children, including three adopted. The couple has since been involved in custody disputes. Additionally, in 2022, Pitt sued Jolie over a sale involving their French estate, Château Miraval.
