Cunningham commented on the foul, stating, “Clearly, it was unnecessary. I’ve never had issues with her, but she seemed to have some unresolved tension. I can handle it.” Despite her remarks, Cunningham emphasized that the foul was intentional.

“I think the league is addressing it. This isn’t about race. Last year, I faced the same consequences,” Cunningham explained.
