LAPD officers swiftly responded to a shooting incident Monday morning in South Los Angeles, where multiple victims were involved. The shooting occurred inside the lobby of a senior assisted living facility located near West 70th Street and Denver Avenue before 11 a.m.
A facility worker entered the building and opened fire, injuring three coworkers. The suspect, a man in his 60s, shot the staff members in the lobby and then moved deeper into the building. Police forces arrived at the six-story location within two minutes, quickly locating the injured individuals before apprehending the gunman.
The victims included a woman in her 40s, a woman in her 60s, and a man in his 60s, all transported to a local hospital. Identification of the critically injured person remains unclear.
