Sherrone Moore, the former head coach for the Michigan Wolverines, is seeking to relocate after listing his Ann Arbor home. According to Realtor.com, the property is priced at $1.7 million and is a short drive from the university. The Detroit News confirmed the house on Walnut Ridge Drive belongs to Moore. The home, featuring five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, was purchased for $1.3 million in 2023.

Moore’s career took a turn following a scandal involving an affair. He was fired from his position after serving as offensive coordinator and taking a brief stint as acting head coach during Jim Harbaugh’s suspension. Moore assumed the role of head coach after Harbaugh left for the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite a national championship under his belt, Moore now faces the aftermath of his actions.

Moore was sentenced to 18 months of probation after a no-contest plea to two misdemeanors. The charges followed an incident where he allegedly forced his way into a residence with a butter knife and scissors, threatening self-harm after the relationship ended. His wife, Kelli Moore, accompanied him to court, advocating for leniency. Judge Cedric Simpson acknowledged the irony of Kelli supporting her husband despite his betrayal.

Moore is also required to pay over $1,000 in fines and adhere to conditions such as mental health treatment and abstaining from alcohol, marijuana, and weapons. He is prohibited from contacting the alleged victim.

The couple has yet to decide on their next destination. Moore’s future in football remains uncertain, with his past expertise overshadowed by current events. Former head coach Moore ended his tenure with a 16-8 record, although his reputation suffered due to a suspension related to sign-stealing.
