In a heartfelt message, Savannah Guthrie reached out to her mother’s kidnapper over 25 weeks after 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Arizona home. Using her Instagram account, Savannah spoke directly to those responsible for the abduction, stating that her family is suffering and will continue their search for her mother.

“Do the right thing now,” she implored, urging the unidentified kidnappers to assist in locating Nancy. “Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her,” she wrote.

“I’m coming on today with a very specific message. It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end,” Savannah Guthrie expressed. “Nothing about our situation has changed. We have done our part, and we will never stop looking for her. We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts. The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place.”

She expressed her belief that it is never too late to act correctly and bring the ordeal to an end. “For all of us. No matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice,” she added.

Savannah Guthrie and her husband, Michael Feldman, were seen at LaGuardia Airport in New York City on July 17, preparing to leave town. This followed an incident where Savannah left the “Today” set after an intruder breached security and confronted her colleague Craig Melvin. Savannah has been off-air while filming a new show.

The family appeals to anyone with information to contact investigators through 1-800-CALL-FBI. A reward exceeding $1 million is offered. Anonymously, tips can also be shared with Tucson’s Crime Stoppers by calling 520-88-CRIME.

The elder Guthrie was abducted from her Tucson home on February 1, as reported by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. DNA testing results and other forensic information remain undisclosed. A suspected ransom note and subsequent message suggesting Nancy’s death have not been validated by investigators.
