As the game stood scoreless, a group of hooded ultras bypassed stadium security and stormed the pitch. Their actions turned the venue into a scene of disorder that alarmed both players and spectators.

Nantes fans, frustrated by their team’s poor performance during the season, overpowered stewards and dismantled security barriers. The rioters, wearing black and hiding their faces, threw flares and pyrotechnics onto the field.
