Andy Williams, the professional wrestler famously known as The Butcher, has died following a medical emergency he experienced during a wrestling event. Williams, aged 48, was competing alongside his tag team partner Jesse Guilmette, also known as The Blade, at a show for Enjoy Wrestling. The event took place at Mr. Smalls Theater in Millvale, Pennsylvania, on Friday night.

The wrestling promotion confirmed that Williams collapsed at the conclusion of his match. ‘Our doctors on staff attended to him immediately, performing CPR until the ambulance arrived,’ the company stated. ‘We sent everyone home and remain at the hospital awaiting further updates.’

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office reported to TMZ on Sunday that Williams had passed away. Attempts to contact authorities for additional comments have been made by OutKick Dropkick.

Apart from wrestling, Andy Williams was also known for his musical career. He was the guitarist for the band Every Time I Die from 1998 until their disbandment in 2022.
