Prince Harry’s Visit Highlights Ongoing Tensions with Brother

Prince Harry recently visited the UK for a series of charitable events, aiming to promote the 2027 Invictus Games. Despite being in the same country as his brother, Prince William, they did not meet or appear together during the trip, indicating unresolved tensions.

On Friday, Harry participated in pickleball and wheelchair rugby in Birmingham. These events were part of the countdown to the Invictus Games, a sports competition he founded for injured veterans. Meanwhile, William was engaged in a charity polo match in Windsor, about 115 miles away.

Later, Harry, along with his wife Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House. This meeting marked the first time in years that the family gathered, highlighting the contrast with the estrangement of the two brothers.

A spokesperson for Harry declined to comment on the situation. Kensington Palace, representing Prince William, also did not respond to requests for comments.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams remarked on the situation, noting that the disconnection between the brothers is unfortunate, given their roles in British life.
