A search is in progress for a shooter connected to a deadly incident following a high school graduation in California. One person was killed, and three others were injured in this event.
Police officers arrived at Fairfield High School’s parking lot around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of gunfire. The shooting occurred shortly after a graduation ceremony for Sam Yeteo High School, while attendees were gathering for photos.
Fairfield Police Department spokesperson, Officer Michelle Belyea, stated that four individuals had been shot. Among them, one person has died, while the other three are receiving medical care at nearby hospitals. Belyea did not disclose details about the identity or the severity of the victims’ injuries.
The police currently have no one in custody regarding the shooting. Belyea also refrained from offering more information or a description of the suspect.
